Centre for Health Care Management (CHCM)
Canadian health care organizations are some of the largest organizations in the country. They consume significant fractions of provincial budgets and they employ hundreds of thousands of health professionals, managers and support staff. The quality and availability of their services are crucial for the lives of all of us.
CHCM is all about how our health care organizations are run.
The CHCM is a partnership of academic and health care delivery organizations. Our purpose is to provide information that health care leaders at all levels can use to make the best decisions.
We do this by:
- Creating research partnerships between academics at UBC and leaders in the health sector to study questions that are important to the health sector.
- Providing educational opportunities, for health care leaders to acquire information and skills they need to create the best health care organizations.
